Yesterday Mayor David joined the Binghamton Local Development Corporation (BLDC) and SUNY Broome to announce Idea Kraft as the winner of the 2014 BLDC/SUNY Broome Business Plan Competition. This year’s competition was a close race that included a number of startup companies and business that have been around for less then five years. The prize money will go to supporting a new position at our agency as well as the purchase of additional equipment. Not only did the competition provide us with excellent professional resources like business mentoring and accounting services, it also helped introduce our company to other local businesses. We highly recommend all new companies to enter the competition next year.
