Evolving a brand: The new EZRED website

EZRED recently hired Idea Kraft to create a landing page announcing their partnership with NASCAR driver Spencer Boyd. After the success of the landing page in promoting their automotive tools during the NASCAR event, EZRED hired us to redesign their full website.


EZRED is a high-quality tool manufacturer serving automotive, industrial, and consumer markets worldwide. They produce innovative products ranging from hand tools and battery tools, to flashlights and specialty equipment. They also hold the only global license for CAT LED Flashlights and Work Lights.

The Design

With goals to evolve the EZRED brand, modernize, and increase viewer engagement, we designed a new website that better reflects the high-quality EZRED products. We introduced new elements—the signature hexagon pattern and lightening bolt graphic, and we updated the layout from darker to brighter, with content that is easier to digest because of added white space and increased text sizes. The new website is responsive, and also includes more information about the company.

Behind the Scenes

Not only is the design more visually appealing, but we set up the back end of the website so that it can easily be turned into a fully-functioning e-commerce store when the client is ready. This gives them a quality sales and marketing tool that works 24/7.
