Fewer drivers are visiting dealerships, and more drivers are purchasing their next ride online through industry disruptors like Carvana and CarGurus. To stay competitive, Modern Automotive— a family of seventeen car dealerships based in North Carolina— needed to offer consumers an online option. Cue GoModern, Modern Automotive’s own online car buying tool and newest brand extension. The auto dealer engaged Idea Kraft to create the visual branding and landing page for GoModern ahead of its launch.

The Solution

Idea Kraft delivered a fresh take on auto branding with a visual identity for GoModern that is colorful, contemporary and steers clear of cliched dealership tropes. We designed the visual identity with digital in mind, which made applying the new brand to the web seamless. To ensure the GoModern tool is understood (and trusted) by car buyers, we designed a landing page that clearly explains the GoModern system in simple steps and friendly language.
