THE USER EXPERIENCE

In researching how to improve user experience, our team identified three main audiences: engineers, purchasing agents and inventors. Idea Kraft overhauled the information architecture and navigation of the site, making it easier for those groups to find the information they need quickly. We completely re-thought user journeys for requesting quotes and finding learning resources, and our copywriting team crafted clear copy that helps guide each user type through the new site.

The Homepage

The homepage is designed to help each user type kick off a project with Incodema. Whether they are requesting a quote or need help translating their idea into a manufacturable design, the clear CTA buttons and grid layout guides users through Incodema’s processes and resources.

The Design

Our work centered on emphasizing topics that mattered to site visitors and using bold CTA buttons to make resources findable and engaging. During the course of the design, we created visual assets and brand elements that fit the specific needs of the web like custom illustrated icons. We also conceptualized and produced a video and photo shoot at Incodema’s facilities to capture content about their process, people and equipment that helped translate Incodema’s niche capabilities into an engaging digital experience.

EBook

We redesigned Incodema’s eBook to match the more modern design of the website and included new brand elements like an updated color palette and custom illustrated icons. Our web team integrated the eBook download with HubSpot to make managing email contacts and leads easier for Incodema’s sales team.
