Megan joins the Idea Kraft team with over 12 years of digital marketing experience in paid search and paid social. She has a passion for developing consumer personas, sales funnels, and ad messaging, and she has end-to end account management experience in strategizing, planning, activation, optimizing, and reporting.

You’re the Digital Marketing and SEO Specialist! What does that mean and what do you do?

The Digital Marketing and SEO Specialist here at Idea Kraft wears many hats: I plan, manage and strategize digital marketing campaigns. That means I conduct market analysis to identify consumer trends, oversee keyword and image optimization and track campaign results so we can tweak ads that aren’t performing at the level we want.

Favorite part of your job?

First and foremost, helping clients meet their goals. A close second is the satisfaction of launching a campaign after putting in the work of building a digital strategy.

What’s your favorite way to spend the weekend?

Spending time outside (weather permitting) with my husband and daughter.

Favorite digital campaign you’ve been a part of?

A self-help and relationship advice campaign that targeted a super specific audience on Facebook. The ads were very provocative and grabbed the users’ attention quickly. It was a fun campaign to be part of with a lot of creative avenues for lead generation.

What’s the last book you read or show you binged?

The last book I read (besides a children’s book— I have an 11 month old daughter) is Seth Godin’s Linchpin, which talks about how anyone can make a significant impact within their workplace.

What’s one piece of advice you have for future digital marketers?

Be curious, and never stop learning. We’re in an ever-changing market, so you need to keep up with new trends and findings.
